Our amazing team is credentialed, highly qualified, and committed to ongoing educational courses. We serve as positive role models to provide care that is supportive, nurturing, warm, and responsive to each child’s individual needs. We respect families as the primary caregivers and believe that parents and teachers are partners in children’s care and education. The Little Peoples Workplace meets and exceeds the qualifications of the State of Maryland.
We are also CDA Credentialed by the Council for Professional Recognition.
A Message from the Director
Hello and welcome to The Little Peoples Workplace. I have been an early childhood educator for over 20 years. My credentials include extensive training in curriculum, health & safety, professionalism, community, child growth & development, observation & assessment using The Ounce Scale, Maryland Model for School Readiness (MMSR) framework, and The Work Sampling System (WSS). I currently hold an AAS degree in Early Childhood Teacher Education, a Child Development Associate credential (CDA), and the Maryland State Department of Education Credential Level 6. I have had many years of working with people, but it gives me no greater pleasure than to work with the little people in our society. Children are our future, and it is such a wonderful experience to be able to work with them as they discover, learn, and grow. I am excited to have the opportunity to partner with families in the growth, development, and education of our “leaders of tomorrow.”
