Our Mission
At The Little Peoples Workplace, our mission is to provide high-quality early childhood education and care at affordable services for children ages 1 year to 5 years old. We are dedicated to partnering with families and giving each child individualized care, attention, and educational enrichment in a safe, fun-filled nurturing preschool environment. We are committed to building a community of life-long learners with positive self-esteem, confidence, values, morals, ethics, and principles.
About Our Facility
The Little Peoples Workplace has been growing a community through a partnership with “Gorgeous Prince Georges” since 1997 and is conveniently located in Lanham, MD, near I-95, 295, Rt. 450 & Rt. 193. We are licensed by the Maryland State Department of Education, accredited by the National Association of Family Child Care (NAFCC), and have been awarded the highest check level of 5-STARS by the “Maryland EXCELS” Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS).
In addition, our facility is designed with a full kitchen, restroom, and spacious classroom with learning centers stocked with materials to meet every age group to support developmentally appropriated learning. We also have a private playground, a water table, riding trikes, slides, climbers, indoor/outdoor easels, a picnic area, and street parking.
