Our program has integrated the use of the Maryland Model for School Readiness and is designed to meet the developmental needs of young children. It provides experiences that enrich and enhance each child’s cognitive, language, social, emotional, physical, and creative development. Within the program’s daily schedule, each child has opportunities to create, explore the environment, and learn problem-solving and personal interaction skills through hands-on experiences. Children develop positive self-concepts and a level of mastery through a balance of self and teacher-directed activities. Opportunities for independent play, as well as group activities, are provided.
